Wedding in the rain

小雨が降る熱田神宮の参道を神官を先頭に新郎新婦と参列者が移動する光景に出くわした。砂利を踏み締める音と和傘を打つ雨の音が厳かな雰囲気を高めていた。

We came upon the scene of the bride, groom, and attendants moving along the approach to Atsuta Shrine in a light rain, led by a priest. The sound of gravel being stepped on and the sound of rain hitting a Japanese umbrella added to the solemn atmosphere.
