東尋坊

Tojinbo

東尋坊は、福井県坂井市にある日本有数の景勝地。切り立った断崖絶壁と、日本海の荒々しい波が織りなす壮大な情景。断崖は約1キロメートルにわたり、海面から高さ20メートルから30メートルのゴツゴツとした柱状節理が連続する。

Tojinbo is one of the most famous scenic spots in Japan, located in Sakai City, Fukui Prefecture. The sheer precipitous cliffs and the wild waves of the Sea of Japan create a spectacular scene. The cliffs are a series of rugged columnar joints, 20 to 30 meters above sea level, stretching about 1 kilometer.
