I have been photographing high school baseball games for the past ten years, and there is something that I feel when I watch the increasing skills of the ball players. While some players are spectacular and powerful, others are working hard to make up the difference. A coach of a regular Koshien school once said, “In baseball, a strong heart backed by practice is important. Sometimes the game that leads to victory spins a story from a single play. When I encounter such a moment, the evening drink is exceptionally delicious.
