近年は少子化の影響で、少年野球チームのメンバーが減少している。昔なら考えられなかったが、小学低学年の小さなプレーヤーがゲームに出場している光景をよく見かける。ハラハラしながらこちらも見てしまう。将来の活躍に期待する。

In recent years, the number of members on youth baseball teams has been declining due to the declining birthrate. It would have been unthinkable in the past, but one often sees small players in the lower grades of elementary school competing in games. I watch them with a sense of suspense. We look forward to their future success.
