Evening view of Heijokyo

生駒山系に沈む夕陽に照らされる平城京の朱雀門。在し日の平城京もこのような夕景だったのだろう。時を超えて美しい夕景を共有した感覚にロマンを感じる。

Suzakumon Gate of Heijo-kyo Capital, illuminated by the setting sun over the Ikoma Mountains. This must have been the evening view of the Heijo-kyo Capital in the past. I feel a sense of romance in the feeling of having shared a beautiful evening scene beyond time.
